The cost of a session varies depending on the therapist's experience level, expertise, degrees, and certifications. Each therapist at Emily Schupmann Counseling has their own rate structure.
To find out more about each therapist’s rates and determine if they are a good fit for your needs, please visit our Meet the Team page and review their personal bios. This will provide you with detailed information about their qualifications and areas of specialization.
Payment will be due in full at the end of each session. Cash, check, and all major credit cards (including HSA/FSA) are accepted forms of payment.

Our associates do not accept insurance directly. However, we can provide you with a superbill, which is a detailed receipt of the services you received. You can submit this superbill to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
Please check with your insurance provider to understand your coverage and their reimbursement process. If you have any questions or need assistance with the superbill, feel free to contact us.

Emily Schupmann Counseling, PLLC is not a crisis counseling center. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to your local emergency room for an evaluation.

During this initial contact, our office manager will take the time to understand your needs and what you are seeking from therapy, ensuring we can match you with the therapist best suited to support you.

Appointments canceled befor 24 business hours and no-shows will be charged the full session cost.

We are conveniently located in the Westbend area at 1751 River Run Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Parking is available directly in front of the building or in the free parking garage behind Tyler’s and CorePower Yoga. You can enter the building on the north side next to Ascension Coffee. Once you enter the building, go to the second floor, Suite 200, check in with the receptionist at the front desk, and your therapist will come to meet you shortly.

During your first appointment, your therapist will go over the information you signed and go over any questions or concerns that you may have. During the first session, your therapist and you will focus on gathering information about your history, your reason for seeking counseling, and your desired counseling goals. You may complete some assessments that are deemed helpful. Based on the information gathered, we will go over information regarding further treatment options.

Under the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133, effective January 1, 2022), health care providers need to give clients or patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
